Il Comune di Milano ha una popolazione di circa un milione e mezzo di abitanti, e ogni giorno quasi 500mila pendolari, tra studenti e lavoratori, entrano in città. Sono nate così tantissime app, rivolte a chi ci passa in giornata per lavoro e a chi la vive nella sua quotidianità.

Si chiama Urbi (urban mobility) l'app che raccoglie nella stessa mappa tutti i servizi milanesi di sharing di auto e moto, rendendo la loro accessibilità notevolmente facilitata.
Per chi invece non ha voglia di cercare un'auto o semplicemente non vuole guidare in città, l'app MyTaxy facilita la ricerca immediata di un taxi del servizio pubblico.
Tra le migliori app di mappe cittadine, c'è Moovit, per orientarsi nella ricerca di mezzi di superficie, di fermate delle metropolitane, e perfino di stazioni ferroviarie.

Per visitare Milano e vivere la città, anche per chi ci abita e la conosce poco, il Comune ha sviluppato VisitMilano, un'app gratuita per non perdersi nessuno degli eventi che la città offre. Dalla stessa app è possibile prenotare musei, spettacoli e acquistare i biglietti per i mezzi pubblici ATM.

Un'altra interessante app per essere sempre informati sugli avvenimenti in città è Spotlime, nata nel 2013 da una startup milanese e molto usata dai giovani per scegliere e prenotare eventi serali e notturni in tutta Milano.

Urbi is an app with a map that identifies the location of cars and scooters that are part of sharing services.
For those who would rather not drive in the city, MyTaxi procures you a city cab at the click of a button.
One of the must useful apps for getting around town is Moovit, providing information on buses, trams, the underground Metro stops, and even train stations.
With Easypark, you can not only easily find parking but pay for it as well, all from your cell phone.
To keep up to date with all the events taking place in the city, use VisitMilano. The app is free and can be used to book museums and shows, even purchase tickets for public transportation. It’s as helpful for residents as it is for tourists!
There’s another interesting app, produced by a Milanese startup in 2013 and particularly popular with young people. Spotlime keeps track of evening and nighttime events and happenings all around the city.
